Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

EDGE Trading Desk is operated by [LLC name] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through edgetradingdesk.com, our Discord server and our alert emails (the "Service"), how we use it and the choices you have. Questions go to [email protected].

2. What we collect

From Whop, when you buy or start a trial: your name, email address, the plan you chose, membership and trial status, and the Discord account you linked. Whop processes your payment; we receive confirmation of it, not your card details.

From Discord, when you join our server: your Discord user ID, username, roles, and the messages and reactions you post in our server. Discord also collects information under its own privacy policy.

When you agree to the rules: your Discord ID, the version of the rules you agreed to and when.

When you turn on email alerts: your email address, a one-time code to confirm it (stored only in scrambled form, for 10 minutes), when you confirmed, and records of the alert emails we sent you and whether they were delivered.

When you contact us: what you send and our replies.

When you visit the website: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time. If we run ads, we may use advertising and analytics tags (such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics) that use cookies or similar tools to measure visits and sign-ups from those ads.

3. How we use it

• to provide the Service: give you access to the right channels, send phone and email alerts, and remove access when a membership ends;
• to keep a record that you agreed to the server rules and confirmed your email address;
• to run billing, support and account questions with Whop;
• to keep the community safe and enforce our Terms, including stopping alerts from being shared;
• to measure and improve the website and our ads;
• to send service messages, such as changes to our Terms;
• to comply with the law and protect our rights.

Your personal information is never shown on the public Ledger, which lists trades only.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your email address with anyone for their own marketing. We share information only:

• with service providers that run parts of the Service for us: Whop (payments and memberships), Discord (the community), Resend (sending alert emails), and our web and server hosts. They may only use it to provide their service to us;
• with advertising and analytics providers, limited to the website information described above, if we use their tags;
• when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of members, the public or us;
• in a business transfer, such as a sale or merger, where this policy would continue to apply to your information.

5. Alert emails

We send trade alert emails only to members who turn them on and confirm their address. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click, and you can also turn emails off in the #alerts channel. Emails stop automatically when your membership ends. We may still send you occasional service messages about your membership.

We don't currently send text messages. If we ever add text alerts, we'll update this policy before collecting any mobile number, and mobile numbers and text-message consent will never be shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing.

6. How long we keep it

We keep membership and alert information while you're a member and for a reasonable time afterward to handle questions, billing records and legal obligations. We keep records of rules agreements and email consent for as long as we might need to show them, which can be several years after your membership ends. Server logs are kept for a short period. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your choices and rights

• Turn off phone or email alerts any time in #alerts, or use the unsubscribe link in any alert email.
• Leave the Discord server or cancel your membership through Whop at any time.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use the ad settings offered by Meta and Google to limit ad tracking.
• Ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll verify the request comes from you, and we may keep information we're required to keep by law or need to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We'll honor them as that law requires, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards for the information we hold, including encrypted connections, access limited to people who need it, and keeping confirmation codes only in scrambled form. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information sent to us.

9. Children

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we'll post it here with a new effective date and tell members in Discord or by email before it applies.
